Where it is specified
- Sour gas wellhead and downhole components
- High strength with resistance to sulphide stress cracking

Bought for sour service, qualified by hardness, not chemistry
925 is usually bought for sour service, where the qualifying document is the NACE compliance record and the hardness result, not the chemistry. Material supplied without hardness verification cannot be shown to meet MR0175 whatever the certificate says.

- Heat treatment records demanded
- PMI for Ti and Mo against B805
We commission an accredited independent laboratory to test the heat before the material leaves China. You will receive that report unedited, whether it passes or not.
